Darrow Project

The sister school of Darrow School, JPED Academy China keeps close contact with its alma mater. Every June, students of JPED Academy China will go to the United States to study and live together with the teachers and students of Darrow school. In the four-week course, the local teachers of Darrow school teach in person. By combining drama, history, English, science, and hands-on furniture-making, the students carry out project-based and interdisciplinary learning. The purpose is to cultivate students' figurative thinking that closely links knowledge from textbooks with practical problems in real life and train the students' skills in teamwork and making speeches.
